Legislation
The Royal Commission into the Integrity of Major Public and Civil Infrastructure Construction Projects in Victoria was established under the Inquiries Act 2014 (Vic) and constituted by Letters Patent issued by the Governor of Victoria.
Orders and rulings
There are currently no orders or rulings.
The Commission is committed to transparency and the principles of open justice and will ensure that information from its hearings is publicly available wherever possible.
There may be occasions where the Commission makes an order prohibiting or restricting the publication of information or evidence if:
- prejudice or hardship might be caused to any person, including harm to their safety or reputation; or
- the nature and subject matter of the information is sensitive; or
- there is a possibility of any prejudice to legal proceedings; or
- the conduct of the proceeding would be more efficient and effective; or
- the Commissioner otherwise considers the prohibition or restriction appropriate.
